Who The Heck Am I?

MeThat’s what I’ve been trying to figure out. I was a victim of domestic violence for many years. I’m a survivor now. Remarried to a wonderful man. Mom of 7, step-mom of 3. Child of God. What else really matters?

You were my childhood friend. You are beautiful and a gift from God.
    That’s who you are.

i guess once you take care of the important stuff, like what you just described. everything else is a minor detail that will just fall in place. Sounds like you are definitely headed in the right direction ๐Ÿ™‚
btw, thanks for your thoughtful comment back in my blog.

    • The Bible says that our focus is to be Jesus and that all else is ‘rubbish’ and although I know I’m not even close to being able to say everything else is rubbish, I try to keep my focus on what is important – serving God and training up my children in the Word.
I was really moved by what you did because I’ve been a widow. Now I’m a single mom of 7 and I do it without child support or ANYTHING from their dad. It’s a struggle and sometimes it gets really scary, so, again, I can relate to the widow and how she needs the help. You will be greatly blessed and I’m glad I got to witness the beginning of a Godly and selfless act. B)

  4. I loved reading the comments above. You’re doing such a good job, hun.

    Hi,
I’m the illustrator who drew the image of the knight on horseback you’re using. I don’t have a problem with you using it for your article, but could you please link it to my website? It’s http://www.timbakerart.com. Thanks!

    All the best,
    -Tim
